About Searching Theology
Searching Theology is a project devoted to understanding God and His story so we can live before Him faithfully.
It does this by engaging the story the Bible tells, organizing the meaning drawn from that story into a system, and allowing that system to shape life.
The Bible is the primary witness to the story. Searching Theology engages Scripture as its foundation while remaining open to truth encountered through creation, history, and human expression. Such things may, at times, point toward or reflect aspects of God and His story, but all are evaluated in light of the story the Bible tells.
Searching Theology exists to model careful and honest engagement with the story the Bible tells—not for the sake of knowledge alone, but so that understanding may shape faithful living before God and toward others.
