The Church Domain

The Church is the present expression of the people of God under the reign of the risen Messiah.

Through Christ and by the Spirit, those who belong to God are gathered into one people and called to live as a faithful witness to His kingdom in the present stage of the story. The Church is not a replacement of the people of God, but the present form of that people as the story continues in light of Jesus’ resurrection and reign.

This domain explores the identity and purpose of the Church within God’s story, especially how God’s people are gathered, formed, and sent as they live together in Christ while awaiting the full restoration of creation.
