Faith and Faithfulness Domain

Faith and faithfulness describe the response and ongoing life of those who live in the life and reign of Jesus the Messiah. Through faith, people respond to God and enter into life in Christ. Through faithfulness, they continue in that life over time.

This response is expressed as a life oriented toward God under the reign of Christ. Those who belong to Him live in trust and ongoing commitment as they follow Him within the present age.

Scripture calls believers to remain faithful as they continue in this life, while also holding open the reality of repentance and restoration. In this way, faith and faithfulness describe the lived expression of life in Christ as God’s work continues toward its completion.
