God’s Restoring Work Domain

In response to the disruption caused by rebellion, God acts within creation to restore what has been broken and to move the story toward the fulfillment of His purpose to dwell with His people.

His restoring work unfolds throughout the story in a variety of ways, including covenant, sacred space, atonement, judgment, deliverance, and protection. These are not separate goals but coordinated expressions of His character and purpose as He works within history.

This domain explores how God actively moves within the story to restore relationship with His creation and His people, preparing for and leading into the decisive turning point in Jesus the Messiah.
